Emphasis Media Limited enters the London market
Emphasis Media, a company of PubliGroupe, continues its commitment to global expansion with the recent addition of its new London office. Emphasis Media now operates offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, United Kingdom, China and Taiwan catering to the ever-diversifying needs of our global client base.
We are happy to have been awarded the recent contract for CNN Traveller magazine. The London office will not only manage CNN Traveller but spearhead our future custom publishing development in the UK market. This office will also provide complete custom publishing solutions to clients including content, design, media sales, print, distribution and digital solutions.
The expansion of the Group provides the potential for our Asian clients to penetrate the UK market through local management by either creating a UK edition of a particular title or distribution of an existing Asian title into the UK market.

Milton Barratt, Commercial Director
A veteran in the publishing industry, Milton has many years of experience in custom, consumer and B2B publishing. He has a strong track record as Publisher/Director at leading UK custom and consumer publishers including Redwood Customer Communications, Brooklands and dmg world media. Milton will manage the London office in driving the sales and creative teams, expand the custom publishing business while servicing the CNN Traveller account.
Daniel Hayes, Editor
Dan is a magazine editor with extensive experience in contract publishing titles. He has worked and contributed for a wide range of clients, magazines and newspapers including American Express, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Sheraton Hotels, The Independent, The Guardian and The Open Championship magazine. Since 2000, he has edited CNN Traveller and will continue to work as Editor of the magazine.
Michael Wescombe, Art Director
Mike has over 10 years experience as Art Director in contract publishing. He worked on CNN Traveller magazine while at Highbury House Communications and has also worked on titles for a wide range of clients including London City Airport, Intercontinental Hotels and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Silvia Lehnert, International Media Sales Manager
An advertising veteran with 10 years experience in print media in Europe including contract publications such as Frankfurt Stock Exchange, London Philharmonic Orchestra, CNN Sports Illustrated and Ikea/Room, Silvia has been managing CNN Traveller magazine since 2005. She will continue her role for the two editions of the magazine and will work closely with the media sales teams in the Hong Kong and Singapore offices.
Steve Mohr, Key Accounts Sales Manager
Steve started his magazine advertising career in 1992 and has worked on CNN Traveller since its launch in 1998. He reports to Silvia and will be working with her on advertising sales opportunities for the magazine.
