Hans-Peter Rohner

After completing an apprenticeship in advertising and qualifying for the CFC in 1972, Mr Rohner went on to obtain his diplomas as an advertising technician in 1974 and advertising manager in 1979. He completed his training by attending management courses in Switzerland (IMD, HSG) and abroad.
Mr Rohner has been Chairman since 29 April 2009, CEO of PubliGroupe since July 2002 and a member of its General Management since 1994.
He has held the following positions within the group:
- Director of Publicitas Promotion Network (Europe/Asia/Latin America) from 1999 to 2002.
- Group Marketing Director from 1994 to 1999.
- Marketing Director and member of the Management Committee of Publicitas Ltd, from 1990 to 1994.
- Head of Strategic Marketing Publishers of Publicitas Ltd in Lausanne, from 1985 to 1989.
Previously, he held the following positions outside the group:
- Member of the management of the Tages-Anzeiger Group and Director of Publication of the women’s magazines, Annabelle, Femina and Voilà, from 1982 to 1985.
- Member of the planning group on the management of the Tages-Anzeiger as Head of the Electronic Media Project, from 1980 to 1982.
- Head of Marketing Services, Tages-Anzeiger Group, from 1976 to 1980.
Mr Rohner has seats on the boards of directors of several companies in which PubliGroupe has shareholding interests and currently holds the following other positions:
- Member of the board of economiesuisse, since 2003.
- Member of the GfM (Swiss Marketing Association) committee, since 2005.
- Member of the Foundation Board of IMD, Lausanne, since 2002.

Mr Böni took an MBA at the University of Rochester, New York, and a Master of European and International Business Law from the University of St. Gallen.
Mr Böni is currently:
- Chairman of Remaco Merger Ltd, in Basel, since 1998.
- Chairman and CEO of the “International Trust Group (itag)” in Basel, since 2005.
- Member of the Board of Directors of “Banque du Bois AG” in Zurich, since 2005.
- Chairman of the Jean-Robert Gerstenhauer-Grolimund Foundation, since 2006
- Member of the Committee of the “Handelskammer beider Basel (HKBB)”, since 2006.
- Member of the Swiss Bankers Association, since 2007.

- Partner and manager of consultancy and M&A offices.
Kjell Aamot

Norwegian citizen | Born 1950
Mr Aamot has a Master’s degree of Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Mr Aamot is currently:
- Non Executive Director, Johnston Press plc UK.
- Member of the Board of Directors, 20 Min Holding AS (a company of Schibsted).
- Member of the Board of Directors, 20 Min France and Schibsted Forlag AS.
He was previously:
- President and CEO, Schibsted ASA, Oslo, from 1989 to May 2009.
- Leading functions at Schibsted ASA from 1977 to 1989: CFO (1977- 1985) and then CEO (1985-1989), Verdens Gang AS Norway.
- Member of the Board, Norwegian Newspaper Publishers’ Association, from 1991 to 1995.
Eliane Borter
Pully (VD)
Swiss national | Born 1945
Mrs Borter holds a Swiss Federal commercial school-leaving certificate and attended HEC courses in Lausanne for two years; she also holds a Cambridge diploma. Mrs Borter then embarked upon a long career in sports.
Mrs Borter has been active in the management and administration of private wealth since 1989. She is a member of the heirs association of Alfred Borter, a group which holds 10.62% of PubliGroupe’s share capital.
Mrs Borter is currently:
- Member of Swiss Sports Aid, French speaking part of Switzerland section, since 2004, then vice-president of Swiss Sports Aid, since 2010.
- Member of the executive board of the “Sport, Science and Society” Foundation, since 2002.
- Director and board member of the EBO Diffusion company, since 2000.
Peter Brunner
Rüschlikon (ZH)
Swiss national | Born 1945
Mr Brunner holds a Doctorate in Economics from University of St. Gallen.
Mr Brunner is currently:
- Chairman (since 1995) and Delegate of the Board (since 1989) of Desco von Schulthess Holding AG, a private group active in international trade and in the watchmaking industry, which he joined in 1983.
Christian Budry

Mr Budry holds a first degree in Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Fribourg and a Swiss Federal chartered accountant diploma.
Mr Budry is currently:
- Chairman of the Board of CFO Solutions SA since September 2011.
- Member of the Board of Directors of Romande Energie Holding SA since 2003, and Chairman of the Audit Committee since 2005.
- Member of the Board of the Pension Fund of the Canton de Vaud since January 2012.
- Independent Board member of various private Swiss firms.
He was previously:
- CFO and member of the Group Executive Committee of Bobst Group in Prilly, from 2001 to 2011.
- Director of the Audit Department of Ernst & Young (Switzerland) for Lausanne and subsequently for the whole French-speaking part of Switzerland from 1990 to 2000, Partner since 1996, and Head of Manufacturing, Technology & Energy for the Swiss market at Ernst & Young from 2000 to 2001.
Andreas M. Schönenberger

Swiss national | Born 1965
Andreas Schönenberger holds a PhD in theoretical physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, and an MBA from the London Business School.

- Member of the advisory board of Swiss Post Solutions ePPH, since 2011.

Christian Wenger
Küsnacht (ZH)
Swiss national | Born 1964
Christian Wenger earned his Dr. iur. from the University of Zurich, and graduated as LL.M. from Duke University Law School, North Carolina.
Current engagements:
- Partner at Zurich law firm Wenger & Vieli Ltd since 1999, specialised in commercial and business law, with a particular focus on private equity, venture capital and mergers & acquisitions.
- He serves as chairman and member of various boards of directors of Swiss and international companies. (Peach Property Group AG, Falcon Private Bank AG, APEN AG, Looser Holding AG).
- Member of the executive committee of SECA Swiss Private Equity & Corporate Finance Association) and, as member of the committee, he leads the chapter “Venture Capital and Seed“.
Election and Term of Office
The members of the Board of Directors are elected by the General Meeting, in principle for a three-year term of office.
They may be re-elected indefinitely. However, according to the organisational rules, members must resign their mandate from the date of the next General Meeting after their seventieth birthday.
An individual vote was taken for each election and re-election.
