Media Sales

All media sales activities are the central mission of “Media Sales”. This is the core business of the group which is based on partnerships with the media established now for many years. More dynamic sales, development of all media competences, development of interactive and digital services, optimisation of technological processes and supports, development on selected international markets and redeployment of all the activities under the Publicitas brand : those are the challenges taken up by Media Sales.

 

 

 

Media Sales brings together under a single roof all of the group’s media sales activities including those of PubliPresse (Publicitas - Publimedia - Publimag - Mosse Media), the international Publicitas Promotion Network and the member companies of PubliGroupe active in the electronic, digital and interactive media (cinecom, Radiotele, web2com, Crossmedia). www.publicitas.com

This new business segment will be developed under the “Publicitas” brand. The different names used worldwide by the “Media Sales” activities will therefore be progressively replaced by the single strong Publicitas brand which is to be entirely renovated and repositioned. This means that the various brands will merge within the Publicitas brand over a period of some two years. Introduction of the new brand structure will begin in the spring of 2008. Working groups are preparing for the launch with the support of the specialised Zurich agency SNK Scholtysik Niederberger Kraft.

The presence of Media Sales in Zurich, Switzerland’s principal advertising market, will be physically reorganised in the spring of 2008. The Media Sales entities, spread today between five different sites in the Zurich region, will be brought together under a single roof in the modern office complex known as “Baslerpark”, in Baslerstrasse. From this base, Publicitas will support the development of its subsidiaries established in 21 countries.

This year, Media Sales broadened its activities on some international markets by acquisitions in India (Mediascope Publicitas), Canada (APR Media) and China.

The new management team comprises as of 1.1.2008 the heads of the four geographical zones Switzerland, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas and those of the central services :
