The main task of iware AG is the development and distribution of products and the provision of IT services in the publishing field. This is reflected in the slogan: “iware – software for publishing”.

Since its formation in 1992, iware has constantly cooperated with print shops, publishing houses, firms in the pre-press sector and many public or private businesses. Today, we regard all of these activities as part of a big area which we call the "world of publishing".
